Assistant/Associate Professor, Engineering Physics
Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching courses in the support of the EAC / ABET -accredited engineering physics program with tracks in mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering or other classes as assigned. The development of a sustainable research and creative activity program involving undergraduate engineering students is critical. This faculty will be expected to develop student-centered teaching skills including the use of modern classroom and course management technologies. Engagement in EAC / ABET accreditation is required. Other responsibilities may include student academic and career advisement, and developing professional industry partners for internship and full-time career opportunities. Development and participation in student recruiting and retention activities are also important. Minimum Education Requirements: Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.
