The School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIE), housed in Rowan’s AACSB-Accredited William G. Rohrer College of Business, invites applications for a tenure-track (Assistant / Associate) Professor of Entrepreneurship. Rowan’s entrepreneurship faculty are distinguished leaders in their field. The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications: + A Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or closely related field. + An experiential approach to entrepreneurship education. + A track record of excellence in scholarship consistent with rank. + For the assistant professor rank, the candidate should have an outstanding potential for developing a sustainable and externally funded research program, and a strong commitment to excellence in both research and teaching. + The ability to teach an array of entrepreneurship-specific courses. + A reputation of being a collegial, collaborative team member. Preferred qualifications include: + An active research pipeline with outcomes demonstrating the ability to publish in high-profile (e.g., FT50, ABDC-/A, ABS3/4) journal outlets commensurate with rank. + Research interests aligned synergistically with current Rowan entrepreneurship faculty. + First-hand experience in launching a startup and/or serving on startup / non-profit boards of directors is a plus. + Experience writing and securing grant funding for entrepreneurship and economic development research and programming.
