The primary role for this position will be to provide outpatient primary care to patients in the Portsmouth Family Medicine Clinic.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include diagnosis and management of common medical conditions as well as health maintenance and disease prevention; supervision and teaching of medical residents during their primary care clocks or ambulatory medical rotations; and teaching of medical students during their clinical medical rotations.

 

 

Qualifications

MD or DO equivalent from an appropriately accredited institution and conferred by the time of hire. Board certified/eligible in Family Medicine, and eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia at the time of appointment.
