The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences is seeking to find a full-time faculty member for a Gynecologic Oncologist position. We are looking for an individual at the
Assistant, Associate, or Professor level on the Clinical Scholar Pathway who is board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology and be eligible for medical licensure in Vermont. The ideal candidate will have an academic interest and productivity in either educational scholarship or clinical research and have excellent clinical skills in both office and surgical gynecologic oncology. The Gynecologic Oncology Division currently includes 3 attending physician providers, a physician’s assistant and a dedicated nursing and office support team within a growing clinical practice. We are an active member of NRG , and our dedicated gynecologic oncology tumor board is attended by radiation oncology, pathology, genetic counselors, and research staff. As the only gynecologic oncology program in Vermont, we serve the majority of Vermont and North Country New York.
The Division of Gynecologic Oncology is an important component of The University of Vermont Cancer Center. The Cancer Center supports basic, population and clinical research activities, the latter including active participation in NRG Oncology. The Cancer Center is growing and moving toward NCI designation. There will be significant opportunities for participation in the Cancer Center.
