We seek candidates who are excellent at imparting state-of-the-art accounting knowledge to students from all socioeconomical, geographical, and ideological backgrounds. Candidates with experience, interests, and scholarship in accounting data analytics and taxation are particularly encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities The accounting program offers an accounting undergraduate concentration as part of a BS in Business degree, and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree. The successful candidate must be willing and able to provide effective, high-quality instruction in multiple accounting courses at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, with a normal teaching load of 15 credit hours per year. Our new faculty member will teach required and elective courses in the undergraduate business major with specialty emphasis in accounting as well as graduate courses in the Master of Professional Accountancy program, advise students, conduct scholarly research, and provide college and university service and engagement. Faculty members are expected to publish impactful research in quality, peer-reviewed journals related to the accounting field. Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills Ph. D or D.B.A. degree with emphasis in Accounting or a closely-related field by start date, or JD with emphasis in taxation by start date. Potential to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting. Potential to carry on a successful program of scholarly research resulting in publication in quality peer-reviewed journals. Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills Demonstrated experience providing high-quality teaching in accounting data analytics or accounting taxation courses. Pipeline of accounting-related research intended for publication in quality peer-reviewed journals. Relevant professional accounting experience. Relevant professional accounting certifications.
