Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job Teach a 3-course load (undergraduate/graduate) in the School of Teaching and Learning. Serve on committees, research, publish, present, work with school districts, supervise students in various settings. Teach Monday-Friday during the day and possibly evenings. Courses taught include, but not limited to, mathematics, curriculum and instruction, managing a classroom environment positively, and methods for elementary and middle grade instruction. Applicants with an earned Doctorate degree may have the opportunity to teach graduate courses.

Educational Requirements for the Position We expect to hire at the Assistant Professor level. Dedicated teacher-scholars with a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or equivalent and 18 graduate hours in math are encouraged to apply. Qualifications for the position includes a strong commitment to teaching, and a high potential for research.  Experience Required for the Position At least 3-5 years successful teaching in K-12 setting teaching math. Experience working with various learners in a school environment and in differentiating instruction.
