The Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcast and Creative Video is responsible for leading the creative direction and content for Colorado State Athletics video production. Individual is responsible for collaborating with internal and external constituency groups to identify stories; utilizing existing and emerging video technologies; instituting best practices; developing unit workflows; and cultivating fan engagement and affinity through compelling video and digital media content as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in video production, communications, marketing, business, management, fine arts or any other field related to duties and responsibilities; Minimum of three years of previous experience in video production/digital media content (intern, GA, and professional experience applicable) Previous experience in NCAA Division I Athletics or similar live production events, including camera crew directing and the use of replays Knowledge in the fields of marketing, multimedia, and technology Excellent oral and written communications skills Proficiency in a variety of software products and video/graphic design programs Ability to work on projects individually, as well as within a team Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines Knowledge of applicable NCAA rules and regulations; willingness to report any rules violations; commitment to the Department’s culture of compliance Ability to work effectively with a diverse community and advance the Department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion Ability and willingness to conduct activities in compliance with NCAA, conference, and Colorado State University rules and regulations Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays and travel Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date.
