Assistant Athletic Trainer
Under the direction of the Director of Athletic Training, the Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the daily athletic training needs of assigned intercollegiate athletic teams and overall care and maintenance of the athletic training facilities. This person must provide exceptional personal care for the student-athletes and sports programs, as assigned to them, with regard to safety, injury prevention, rehabilitation, healthy eating and living, and health insurance matters. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
*A master's degree in athletic training or related field/concentration. *A minimum of one (1) year of directly related experience as a certified athletic trainer.
*Possess state athletic training licensure, in good standing, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or eligible to pursue upon being hired; Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC).
*Demonstrated experience working with spreadsheets and relevant databases. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
*Three (3) or more years of experience at the Division I collegiate level.
*Experience managing multiple sports as an athletic trainer.
