Job DescriptionPCI is seeking an entry-level Associate Controller for its Seattle operations based in Woodinville, WA. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities:
Oversight and accountability of financial controls in branch operations and responsibility for compliance with PCG policies & proceduresShared ownership with other branch team members of accurate financial projections on contracts in progress through the use and maintenance of financial controls, labor productivity reporting and project walk-throughsPerforming key tasks related to monthly financial closes for assigned businesses and ensuring accurate reported financial resultsPartnering with branch administrative teams who focus on contract administration, billings & collections, payroll processing and payables processingPreparation of annual branch business plans and budgets, and preparation of monthly branch forecastsAttendance and participation in branch meetings including staff meetings, Contracts in Progress (CIP) meetings, pre-job set-up meetings and project review meetingsIdentification of areas of potential process improvement and working with staff to implement measures which will add clear valueMaintenance of strong partnerships with General Managers and branch leadership in support of achieving strategic and financial plansSalary range: $78,250-81,700 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management or related discipline, or comparable work experienceAbility to consistently meet deadlines and exhibit flexibility to changePositive attitude, high level of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across organizational functionsAbility to work in a team environmentWillingness & ability to visit project sites in the Seattle Metro areaAbility to multitask and stay organizedWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and WordAbility to travel to Corporate office in Kansas City or other locations for company meetings on a minimal basisPreferred Requirements:
