What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities Management team located in Richmond Hill is currently seeking an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to join their team! You will fulfil a leadership role by providing operational and administrative support to the Branch Management Team. In addition to managing client account activities and ensuring compliance standards are met, the Assistant Branch Operations Manager fulfils a diverse role which includes liaising with internal departments, providing software and process-related training, and help manage the branch facilities and equipment.

What will you do?

Help implement the Branch Director's directives and ensure the branch is efficiently and effectively managedHelp manage the daily administrative operations of the branch, including the approval of incoming and outgoing daily transactionsAssist with training new branch support staff and coordinate ongoing training initiatives for existing branch staffEnsure compliance and internal control requirements are metVerify and approve outgoing assets, cheques, and bank wiresVerify and action requests submitted by sales support staff through the internal workflow business application systemVerify documentation and approve account openings

Must-have

Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentMeticulous attention to detail and effective organizational talentsStrong Microsoft Office Suite skillsDemonstrated aptitude in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clientsExceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to have

Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), preferably already approved with CIROKnowledge of the RBC Dominion Securities’ operations, policies, and procedures regarding client accounts, including internal controls
