Assistant Brand Manager Miladys

Miladys is seeking an innovative and results-driven Assistant Brand Manager to support the Head of Marketing in driving brand growth and customer engagement. This dynamic role involves managing key marketing initiatives, collaborating across teams, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail marketing, loyalty programs, and campaign management, with excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Grade 12 with a relevant completed Marketing qualification 2-3  years’ experience in a similar Marketing role within the retail environment  Fashion or styling experience is preferred  Brand Marketing Strategy experience preferred A solid understanding of core marketing principles High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, powerpoint and Outlook Advanced communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills, including effective presentation and listening skills Process and deadline driven

 Brand Strategy & Execution

Execute Marketing strategy for seasonal & key moments campaigns and compile a Post campaign analysis alongside the Visual Brand Manager and Digital Marketing Manager. Support Head of Marketing to deliver the Business objectives and Strategy

Loyalty Program Development & Membership Growth

Develop and execute strategies to grow the Miladys Club loyalty program and recruit new members. Drive innovative campaigns to enhance customer retention and engagement.

Customer Acquisition

Create and implement initiatives to acquire new credit account members.

Campaign Management

Ensure that ML2 is briefed into the agency alongside with Visual Brand manager for Monthly and seasonal campaigns. Plan and manage promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment across digital marketing channels. Brief digital and creative teams to deliver marketing elements on time and on brand.

Influencer & Content Marketing

Manage influencer partnerships in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and Agency, ensuring high-quality content aligns with the marketing strategy. Oversee the marketing channel calendar, ensuring cohesive and timely execution

New Store Openings & Store Visits/Comp shop

Plan and execute Above-the-Line (ATL) marketing support for new store openings in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator. Work closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager and Graphic designer to ensure instore elements are on brand and conduct comp shop to ensure Miladys is ahead of competitor, report findings to Snr Management quarterly.

Budget Management

Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal allocation of resources. Recon budget monthly to ensure we don’t overspend

E-Commerce Collaboration

Work with the e-commerce team to ensure all online content is on-brand and aligned with marketing objectives.

Brand CI & Integrity

Uphold the Miladys brand identity (CI) and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Collaboration with Buying & Planning Teams

Partner closely with the buying and planning teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives, from product selection (ML2) to launch.

PR, New Launches & In-Store Activations

Plan and manage new product launches and in-store activations, driving excitement and engagement alongside the Agency. Work with Media partners and Influencers on Newness through press drops and eventing

Team Leadership

Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Visual Brand manager to ensure a seamless TTL Comms integration.  Manage and support the Marketing Coordinator, ensuring effective task delegation and professional growth. Manage relationships across departments and with agencies

Reporting & Analysis

Deliver monthly reports on marketing portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
