Assistant Brand Manager Mr Price Sport

What does an Assistant Brand Manager do? The Assistant Brand Manager at Mr Price Sport will support the Brand Manager in developing and implementing brand strategies that align with Mr Price Sport’s vision and mission. This role will contribute to driving brand awareness, growing market share, and increasing customer engagement across various channels. The Assistant Brand Manager will be instrumental in coordinating marketing initiatives, analysing customer insights, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.

·       Marketing or Brand degree 

·       1-2+ years in marketing \ brand role, preferably in an agency

·       Retail or sportswear experience is preferred

Skills: 

Key for fashion and styling  Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand management, and consumer behaviour. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. Creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for sports and active lifestyles.

1. Brand Strategy & Execution

Assist in developing and executing brand strategies to attract target audiences, with a focus on active lifestyle customers. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and marketing materials. Contribute ideas for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and special promotions aligned with Mr Price Sport’s values and brand identity.

2. Marketing Campaign Communication Management

Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including briefing, pre-production, agency liaison, shoots and communication review. Coordinate with creative, digital, and product teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns. Monitor campaign performance metrics and prepare reports, providing recommendations for optimization.

3. Brand Partnerships & Influencer Marketing

Assist in identifying and building relationships with relevant influencers, brand ambassadors, and partners to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

4. Event Coordination

Support the planning and execution of brand events, sponsorships, and activations to engage target customers. Coordinate with event management agencies and oversee logistics for brand events.

5. Administration

Store distribution list and visual communications Invoicing and budget execution Template creation and population where required
