The Opportunity
Join us as an Assistant Buyer to kick start or flourish in your merchandise buying career at HSN, in St. Petersburg, Florida!. This role is hybrid where you will come into the office around 4-5 days a month and work the remainder from home. We offer and support our team members with work life balance! These roles prepare you for Buyer I positions where you will lead a Assistant Buyer and analyze sales, return rates, customer reviews, new names and the products and brands that resonate with our customers.

Your Impact
You will identify, negotiate products, price and terms, buy and build new products, concepts, shows, and ideas to deliver sales results across our multi-platforms.
You will develop a sense for merchandising from recognizing product and customer trends to the ability to translate these trends into actual ideas/concepts/products/shows to resonate with HSN customers for the category of business.
You will manage daily office operations and administrative work.
You will communicate with vendors and cross-functional departments. Develop internal relationships and external vendor relationships.
You will Lead the office function in the absence of the Buyer. Perform responsibilities according to company procedures.
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience in corporate buying.
1+ Years related work experience.
Make oral and written presentations. Ability and confidence to present opinions and thoughts.
Access and enter information using automated systems (e.g., windows-based computer) quickly.
