The Assistant Carpenter will aide skilled craftsperson(s) by performing supportive duties as directed and will work under immediate supervision. **Tasks may include:** + Loading and unloading building materials + Assist Carpenter in laying out work + Assist Carpenter with lifting, positioning, securing, and cutting of materials during installation + Clean work areas and equipment + Ensure work area remains stocked with materials needed + Assist other craft workers as needed **Skills/Requirements:** + Framing and Structural Carpentry and Finished Carpentry experience + Hand tool proficiency such as Saws, Drills, and Nail Guns + Material Knowledge + Strong communication both verbal and digital + Problem solving + Customer service Your compensation will vary by experience level.
