**Job Description**
The Women's Pom/Dance Coach is responsible for providing vision and leadership in all aspects of the program, with a primary focus on the development of the student-athlete and the program as a whole. This includes being highly organized, coordination and management of off season, pre-season and in season training, all aspects of recruiting, travel for practices and competitions, planning, coordination. They will also be responsible for choreography of sidelines and National Competition routines. The position will report to the Spirit Program Director and Program Administrator.
Additionally, the Women's Pom/Dance Coach develops and maintains relationships with Health Services, Residential Life, and other appropriate departments to facilitate program development and management. The head coach works to foster a positive relationship with former student-athletes, alumni and parents to maintain strong connection with the past program and the athletic department.

**Requirements**
*A Bachelor's degree is required with 2-4 years of coaching experience.
*The candidate will have a strong background in choreography, and knowledge of latest trends within the industry.
*Successful candidates will be self-motivated and possess the ability to recruit and coach highly talented student-athletes who can succeed in a challenging academic environment.
*A knowledge and commitment to NCAA rules and effective communication skills is required. *Current CPR/AED and AACCA safety certification required, as well NFHS certification.
*The flexibility to work both nights and weekends especially during the academic year is required.
*Also mandatory is the ability to set-up and execute training and competition travel logistics. *Candidates must be equipped for regular physical exertion and light lifting (50 pounds).
*This position will be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC and Institutional rules
