Assistant Chief Engineer - Charging Systems

The Power Electronics Chief Engineer will support coordinating the programs execution and the deliverables in coherence with timing and content targets. Ensure the achievement of all the program’s KPIs in terms of quality (APQP), cost, timing, efficiency, performances, NVH, EMC, safety and compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
Oversight the development and production release of the assigned system: hardware and firmware readiness, mechanical and electrical integration, build, validation, ED&D, DVPR, Change Management, APQP...etc. Inter functional coordination of technical departments involved in project target achievement. Technical Interface to PS Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integration, Purchasing, EE, Controls, Calibration, Compliance and Homologation, Quality, Suppliers, Manufacturing Engineering and Plants Ensure process and methods application according to Standards and lead project documentation creation, monitoring and updating. Leads the readiness and delivery of prototypes & production batches according to the vehicle program requirements Review, approve and track the System DVP&R and supports the development of the subcomponents DVP&Rs Co-leads proactive Risk Management tasks with Functional Quality Team (i.e. DFMEAs, DFSS, LUR, Reliability Demonstration, APQP) and track/lead resolution of all GIMs Leads the technical reviews/evaluations and technical specification sign-offs. (Critical Design Reviews); ensure best practices and lesson learned application. Leads the technical responses to investigate/action bulletins that relate to the system technology Coordinate release of technical documentation to support approval of Compliance Procedure and Compliance Reports, support releases of Product Book updates and Global Product Specification documentsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial / Computer Engineering or equivalent 10 years minimum experience in automotive field (focus in electrical, power electronics or electrified vehicles development preferable) Strong propensity for teamwork, supporting colleagues when needed and proactively Good skills of synthesis, planning, organization and initiative. Strong skill in effective verbal and written communicationPreferred Qualifications:
