Assistant Child Care Director

We are looking for an Assistant Child Care Director who will be responsible for providing sales and marketing support, general office management and support for staff and families. This position includes: 80 hours in two weeks Monday- Friday! Supports Child Care Director in providing leadership and supervision to staff Establishes and supports an environment conducive to the provision of quality services and high level customer satisfaction Monitors Budget, financial activities, and maintains accurate financial records Monitors maintenance of the center and playground and provides feedback and direction to appropriate staff, as necessary Supports a marketing plan aimed at full occupancy Ensures site is in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations Performs other duties as required by the specific child care center Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows -AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED must be obtained within 90-days of hire Basic computer skills: MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets & database management. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Minimum Three Years –leadership role at licensed child care center Business management
