This full-time position involves the clinical instruction of nursing students, providing them with valuable hands-on experiences in patient care during their clinical practicum. The successful candidate will have clinical expertise as a professional nurse and the ability to mentor, guide, and evaluate nursing students throughout their educational journey. Precepting experience required; clinical teaching experience in a prelicensure program preferred. + Education Requirements: Must be enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program with a 3-year completion plan. + Licensure: Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) required. + Certifications: + CPR Certification for BLS for Health Care Providers required. + Act 33, 34, and 73 (FBI) clearances required. + CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire based on American Heart Association (AHA) standards, which include both a didactic and skills demonstration component. + Clearances: + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 (FBI) Clearance with renewal Additional Requirements: + Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located, or if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. + If hired with an out-of-state NLC license, the candidate must apply for licensure in the state where the facility is located within 60 days of changing their residency to that state.
