This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel. UNIT OVERVIEW: 25 bed unit. 70% adult women including hospice, 15% pediatric, 15% GYN/ post-partum. Employees on 28 care for all the different types of patients. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: + Bachelor of Science in Nursing. + Two years RN experience. + Pediatric experience preferred. + Leadership experience preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES: + Current RN license in the State of Michigan. + BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard. + Certifications appropriate for specific unit.
