The Stanford’s Center on Stress and Health within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University’s School of Medicine is looking for an organized and motivated individual to fill the role of an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) to coordinate various aspects of a study examining the psychophysiology of breathwork and its impact on well-being. This role involves interacting with various members of the research team and research participants, so candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills. Work will be delegated amongst the research staff for efficiency so candidates must be able to work effectively independently and with others.
Duties include:
Assist with the screening, recruiting and obtaining consent of study participants.
Assist with orchestrating recruitment strategies.
Schedule research participants for appointments; contact participants with reminders for appointments and study protocol adherence. Accompany research participants to various sites for study assessments.
Maintain study calendar and update the research team as needed.
Perform clerical duties in the preparation of regulatory documents. Maintain all forms and documents, including consent forms and master subject logs. File all appropriate correspondence.
Extract data from source documents for research studies as directed. Collect data and complete case report forms.
Prepare, process, and ship specimens/samples accurately under well-defined requirements.
Overseeing the day-to-day administrative tasks, such as supply ordering, and acquiring and preparing assessment material.
Process study compensation payments.
Assist with post-study activities, as needed.
Administer standard study questionnaires and tests, score test measurements and questionnaires, and code data for computer entry. Perform quantitative review of forms, tests, and other measurements for completeness and accuracy.
Specific duties and responsibilities may vary depending on program needs without changing the general nature and scope of the job or level of responsibility. The ACRC may also perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in a related field.
Experience with recruitment of research participants for clinical studies.
Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
Familiarity with REDCap is a plus.
Familiarity with Breathwork practices is a plus.
Familiarity with MRI assessments is a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Two year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
General knowledge of medical terminology.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Working toward certification(s) to perform basic patient measurements and tests, such as phlebotomy and EKG.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
· Frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use fine light/fine grasping.
· Occasionally sit, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, use a telephone and write by hand, lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
· Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, grasp forcefully, sort and file paperwork or parts, rarely lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh 40 pounds or more.

The expected pay range for this position is $28.59 to $32.90 per hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position.
