Stanford University is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator, within the Department of Cardiothoracic (CT) Surgery to perform administrative support duties related to the collection of clinical data and/or the coordination of clinical studies. Work under supervision of the principal investigator and/or study coordinator/supervisor.
This role involves working collaboratively within a team on a shared schedule that includes both morning and afternoon shifts. The morning shift begins at approximately 7:00 AM, and the afternoon shift starts around 12:00 PM. These shifts will alternate every other week with team members to ensure comprehensive coverage and support for our clinical research activities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of regulatory requirements, including IRB protocols and informed consent procedures.Prior experience with the International Review Board (IRB) and RedCap database is preferred, but not required.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical data management systems.Previous experience in clinical research or a healthcare setting is preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
General knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy of the heart, lungs and chest. Knowledge of cardiothoracic surgery or cardiac care is a plus.CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Working toward certification(s) to perform basic patient measurements and tests, such as phlebotomy and EKG.

The expected pay range for this position is $25.48 to $31.25 per hour.
