Assistant Clinical Services Director

Will plan and administer occupational therapy treatment programs for medically referred participants to restore function.Oversees and provides support to clinical staff and site-based Managers - including but not limited to DTC and Day Health Center, rehab department, social workers, nutritional services, and home services management.Lead Care Planning meetings.Facilitates, reviews, and ensures development and execution of patient care plans.Implement in-service training and management directives.Collects and review data for operational metrics Participates in all quality assurance and regulatory compliance activitiesImplement training Collaborates with departments.Investigates and assist in documenting and resolving customer issues.All other duties as assigned.

Education: Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.Degree from an NLN accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.Successful completion of an accredited Nursing Program required.Completed NYSED approved infection control coursework. A minimum of 8.0 education contact hours that may include contact hours of mandatory training requirements such as infection control coursework.Experience:Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a management capacity in a certified home health agency (CHHA), long-term home health care (LHCSA), acute care, medical-surgical, and/or critical care, nursing home experience, diagnostic & treatment clinic preferred.Customer Service experience is required.Managed long-term care insurance experience beneficial.Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than one (1) year of experience but meets all other requirements, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring.Minimum experience of three (3) years of supervisory experience required.License: Current active and unrestricted license and registration in New York State required as a Registered Nurse.Additional Requirements:Proficient in use of a computer for email, word processing, research, and maintenance of Participant records. Be legally authorized (for example, currently licensed, registered, or certified if applicable) to practice in the State in which the healthcare professional will perform the function.Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.Takes initiative, is resourceful, proactive, creative, innovative, and independent. Is self-directed with ability to work with or without supervision.Good organizational, observation, communication, and judgment skills

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
