Job Summary
The Assistant Coach will be responsible for supporting the overall operation of the women's soccer program including on and off-field coaching, video analysis, recruiting, alumni and community outreach, and other admistrative functions that support a highly successful Division 1 women's soccer program.
Essential Functions
Assist the Head Men's soccer coach with all administrative responsibilities of a Division 1 women's soccer program. Serve as liaison to internal departments such as equipment operations, compliance, communications, business office, marketing and facilities. Coordinate administrative aspects for the program as assigned that promote a professional, supportive and efficient program. Evaluate, contact and recruit potential student-athletes to the university that will represent the program and the university at the highest levels, both on and off the field. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach including but not limited to the operation of camps and clinics to support the fundraising needs of the program. Assist the Head Coach, Women's Soccer in the instruction of techniques, strategies and skills in the sport of soccer. Analyze game and practice video to help formulate training and game strategies. Specific coaching or positional responsibilities to be determined by the Head Coach as needed to best support the success of the program.Required Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information. Minimum of 2 year of college or related coaching experience. Strong administrative, communication and organizational skills. Experience with video breakdown software packages.Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate playing experience.Location

This position is classified as Exempt. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
