EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionFormal training and in-depth experience in cost accounting, financial accounting, local, state, and federal tax regulations, and financial analysis & reportingMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

PAY

$120,000 - $145,000/ year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

SUMMARY 

Under direction of the controller, ensures that all required financial statements and reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner according to corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations and laws. Supports the controller in delivering on monthly performance targets, maintaining a structured compliance environment, and successful execution of business initiatives.

Own the monthly general ledger closing and reconciliation processSupport development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis for the locationLead the completion of monthly financial control procedures to ensure the location meets Howmet audit/ASAT/SOX requirementsProvide accurate and timely reporting/forecasting/planning for the locationIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and sharing of best practicesProvide support on an as needed basis for financial and control audits for both internal and external auditorsSupport development of tools/reports to facilitate financial, commercial, and operational improvementsLead development of tools/reports to facilitate operations to meet the financial planEnsure strict adherence to code of conduct and corporate policyCreate an environment where systems are used to accurately plan, forecast, and deliver according to expectations
