Responsible for the related Staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with Hospital and Department Policies and Procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements. Assist in coordinating and managing the General Ledger, and provide assistance with month end analysis. Participate in the Budget process, gather information required and facilitate department reporting and variance analysis. Oversee the maintenance and General Ledger coding within the Accounts Payable system, ensuring invoices are processed and approved timely. Provide direction to other staff accountants as required insuring position goals are met. Counsel staff as necessary to insure they are knowledgeable of their position goals and responsibilities and that these goals and responsibilities are achieved on a continuous and consistent basis. Performs duties as described in the position responsibilities of Assistant Controller.
