Description We are seeking an Assistant Controller who will be responsible for various accounting tasks in a dynamic environment Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate processing and recording of the company's financial transactions • Aid in the preparation of month-end closing procedures • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations • Maintain an organized system of accounts and records • Respond promptly to inquiries and issues related to accounts and financial reporting • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data • Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry. • Demonstrated proficiency in Month End Close procedures. • Strong skills in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis. • Proven expertise in Financial Reporting. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred. • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
