Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the greater Hartford area for an Assistant Controller. The individual will play a crucial role in our team, handling a range of tasks in our finance department. The industry we operate in is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a constant eye for detail and a high level of organization. Responsibilities: • Conducting month-end close procedures and generating journal entries • Utilizing SAP and HFM for various financial tasks and reporting • Conducting account reconciliation to maintain financial integrity • Preparing and presenting financial analysis reports Requirements • Proficiency in Month End Close procedures is necessary for this role. • Familiarity and proficiency with SAP software is required. • Experience with HFM software is essential. • Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries is a key requirement. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is needed. • Strong skills in Financial Analysis are essential. • The candidate must have experience in Financial Reporting.
