Aplin has partnered with a Leduc-based company in search of an Assistant Controller for a 1-month contract. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who can start immediately, support key financial operations, and ensure a smooth month-end close.

Responsibilities:
Assist with full-cycle accounting, including month-end close processesManage and reconcile sub-ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completenessSupport financial reporting, including preparing journal entries and financial statementsAssist with variance analysis and account reconciliationsEnsure compliance with accounting standards and company policiesWork closely with the Controller to streamline financial processesSupport any ad hoc financial projects or auditsQualifications:
Senior accountant-level experience with a strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end closeExperience working with sub-ledgers and account reconciliationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principlesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesPrior experience with Visual Manufacturing software is a nice to have but not requiredAvailable to start immediately and commit to the full one-month contract
