British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Assistant Manager in Bucharest

Your key responsibilities will include:

Perform Annual Budgeting (Bottom-Up) Monthly SOP Cycle Round1 (ADMIN OVH, GROUP Recharges, OIE)Coordinate Admin Overheads Budget Holder Input exercise during SOP4/SOP10Review Statutory and perform Period End AdjustmentsAnalysis of Admin Overheads, OIE and Group recharges for actuals and planning cycles including detailed commentaries for material movements.Work in partnership with the Area P&R Manager, Cluster HoF, Commercial and Corporate Finance teams to control and manage the delivery of the budgets against the target. Prepare insights for monthly Cluster Management Alignment, Business meetings EM/ GBS, Team meetings EM/GBS, Catch-up sessions with stakeholders etcAct as escalation point for local team with GBS to ensure delivery of information is on-time in full (OTIF), and all issues are resolved; If required, identify, and initiate appropriate corrective action to prevent or address significant accounting issuesManage General Ledger (Manage Closing Period, Reconcile Global BS Framework) in relation to Admin Overheads, Group recharges, OIE.

What are we looking for?

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and strong understanding of the accounting process and practice in BAT / GBSPreferred previous experience in an accounting role 3-5 yearsFull Financial Statements understandingGood Business/ Commercial understanding and curiosityGood technical skills and solid knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically SAP, or ERP equivalent, BPC/BI.Knowledgeable in identifying risks and in implementing controls with a continuous improvement mindset
