The Egan School seeks to inspire students to become leaders across social and healthcare environments who improve health outcomes for all, inclusive of underserved or vulnerable populations. The Egan School offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing and Public Health and a Bachelor of Social Work degree program. Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies at the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies provides general oversight and responsibility for undergraduate student experience, including, but not limited to recruitment, orientation, curriculum, and scheduling of curricula consistent with national standards. Key Responsibilities include: + In coordination with the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies, convene curriculum meetings to address important business. + Conducts annual review and update of Egan Undergraduate Catalog and Website. + Schedules classes and teaching assignments so that they accord as much as possible with the needs of the School curriculum, the Registrar, the individual department members, the Associate Dean and the Dean. + Coordinates and provides advising services to Egan undergraduate students in the absence of undergraduate advisors.This involves academic advisement, assisting students with adding and dropping courses, clinical placement, transfer course credit, record compliance and maintenance, review of student files for graduation. + Advises and counsels faculty members related to undergraduate studies. + Provides leadership over various programs and initiatives as assigned. **Benefits:** Our organization offers an exceptional benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance; state retirement plans; a generous leave program; and tuition assistance.
