The Assistant Developer will support all aspects of maintaining software operating systems. Provides technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of company computer and related software and hardware. Trouble shoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when related to personal desktop computers. Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps. Screens, refers, and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of end-user devices.Assist with developing, implementing systems software including operating systems, utilities and other tools required to run the operations environment.Gather and understand customer requirements for development projects and new site functionality.Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues that arise in the existing SharePoint sites.Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.Accurately estimate development efforts.Assist with the optimization of efficiency, availability and serviceability of the operating environment and computing platforms and networks.Assist the team with analyzing, recommending, implementing and managing the operating environment software.Assist in identifying new software releases or solutions for the operating software environment.Assist development teams on operating environment before and after applications are placed in production.Coordinate and assist with the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of the wired and wireless networking equipment in the enterprise WAN & LAN environments and customer-server network-centric products.Assist in identifying new technologies and alternative systems to enhance security, reliability or customer experience.Assist with preparing scripts to assist with network management.Compile and log operational issues and escalate for resolution to network-related incidents.Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards
