What’s Under the Hood

Bridgecrest, one of the country’s leading financial servicing providers, services roughly $15 billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. We service auto loans across a wide credit spectrum with the intent of creating a strong path to vehicle ownership for our customers.

Bridgecrest recently launched its newest affiliate GoFi. Established in 2022, GoFi is headquartered in Dallas, Texas with a mission to deliver a comprehensive, fully integrated auto finance product allowing the best brands to deliver the best customer experience. By implementing state of the art technology, we provide an off-the-shelf service to make integration with GoFi as seamless as possible.

That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short - the Assistant Director of Credit Strategy (Dallas) will specialize in Portfolio Management. They will leverage problem solving skills and analysis of large datasets to assess the health of the portfolio and find pockets of credit risk that need to be mitigated and monitored, ensuring the current and future profitability of our originations.

In long - The Assistant Director, Credit Strategy (Dallas) is responsible for:

Solving large white space problems with a great degree of autonomy via thoughtful problem-solving frameworks and in-depth quantitative analysis.

Owning the health of our loan portfolio leading to risk mitigating credit strategies; These strategies must be owned through their entire life-cycle including their launch, implementation, and monitoring.

Managing and developing a future team of analysts to a high degree of analytical rigor.

Building rigorous and sustainable business processes to ensure monitoring and analysis are accurate, accessible, and actionable.

Presenting to, communicating with, and gaining the organizational buy-in of executive stakeholders.

Constructing in-depth quantitative analysis by processing, manipulating, and studying large datasets by leveraging strong Excel skills and coding languages such as SQL, Snowflake, and Python.

Killer analytical and story-telling abilities. You’ll need the capability to analyze data and, in return, prepare a well-crafted narrative on your findings in the form of presentations and monitoring reports.

The Specifics

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, finance, statistics, engineering, computer information systems or other STEM field.

5+ years’ experience in analytics related consumer finance roles.

1+ years’ management experience is preferred.

Proven experience with the creation and ownership of results oriented analytical strategies.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, collaborative teamwork, intellectual horsepower, curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with coding languages such as SQL, Snowflake, Python and/or R.
