Assistant Director, Digital Operations

JOB SUMMARY

The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (“MSLC”) is constantly enhancing its world-class digital program to increase engagement with existing and potential customers utilizing digitally powered player experiences across all distribution channels. This position serves as a vital member of the Digital Operations team, managing the coordination of digital platform projects, digital engagement efforts, and integrations on all digital portals, including the Lottery’s website, mobile app and iLottery platform, as well as assisting with the development of new digital initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead and oversee software development projects using Agile methodologies and the SCRUM frameworkManage project timelines, tasks, budgets, and resourcesCoordinate with internal and external teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to deliver new products, features, and application enhancementsLead the implementation of new features on digital platforms, impacting internal processesLiaise with third-party vendors and partners to manage scope changes and deliverablesAssign, review, and approve deliverables from internal teams and external vendorsCollaborate with the Marketing Department to execute product and promotional communications across digital channelsEnsure digital programs meet assigned performance metricsOversee the scoping and implementation of integration projectsClearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesEngage in planning and executing Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activitiesPerform other duties as assigned
