Position Summary

The Assistant Director of EVS supports the Director of EVS with the overall operation of the EVS Department. This includes oversight of Operation Managers, daily activities, project planning and successful strategies to assure high level cleanliness of the hospital, including outer facilities. The Assistant Director works with the Director to achieve performance targets and desired results by managing people, relationships, and processes of EVS. This individual ensures the department achieves their goals and objectives and is expected to engage with all department managers, in the improvement of EVS processes, throughput and HCAHPS scores. The Assistant Director will also assist with DNV and other regulatory agencies.
