Seeking an experienced finance leader with physician group management expertise to serve as Assistant Director, Finance Operations supporting the FirstHealth Physician Group. The Assistant Director is responsible for the financial performance and accuracy of financial reporting for assigned physician groups. The Assistant Director will work closely with the corporate finance department and the physician practice leadership to develop, implement, and monitor the annual operating and capital budgets and business plan. This leader will implement initiatives to improve financial operations and performance, while overseeing compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the healthcare system.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Minimum of eight years of leadership experience in healthcare financial management. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Preferred – MBA/CPA or related certification
