We are looking for an Assistant Director of Facility Operations with significant experience in team leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality environment in our buildings, grounds, roads, equipment, and tools, ensuring a safe and healthy space for both residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include overseeing transportation, security, communication, and facility services. We are seeking candidates who aspire to advance to the Director of Facility Operations role within Erickson Senior Living, with possible relocation options as new communities open.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience starting at $100,000 annually

How you will make an impact

Ensure the community and department goals in the areas of finance, satisfaction, and engagement are met by using the system, process, and control measures.Management of the departments included in the scope of the job are Transportation, Security, Project management, Maintenance & Engineering, Communications, Housekeeping, and Grounds.Respond to emergencies at the community as required.Fill in for the Director of Facility Operations in their absence.Implement system and controls to achieve financial performance as established by the departmental budget. Assist in the budget process for both operating and capital plans.Ensure that requests for the purchase of assets and services are made and in accordance with Erickson Senior Living Communities Purchasing policies, procedures, and processes.Ensure all the required training by managers is completed and documented.

What you will need 

Minimum of 5 years of business experience in General Services / Facilities Operations required.Ability to initiate and implement necessary plans to assure proper maintenance of facilitiesExperience with CMMS is preferred.Valid driver’s license and Record of Road Test (provided by Transportation) is required if operating Community vehicles and must adhere to policies and procedures of Erickson Senior Living Management.  Minimum 10 Hour OSHA training required within 1 year of hire.
