Job Overview:
RWJBH is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing Operations position at the New Brunswick campus.
The Assistant Director for Monitors: Telemetry Technicians, Patient Monitors, Remote Monitoring Aides will ensure high quality, cost effective patient care, and patient experience consistent with the mission of Nursing Division and the organization. Responsibilities include directing the work flow of the team, coordinating daily staffing levels, assuringaccuracy and quality of the care provided and professionally developing direct reports.

Education Required:
Associate degree, required Bachelor s degree preferred Previous leadership experience preferred. Competence with cardiac monitoring and interpretation Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills requiredScheduling Requirements:
Day Shift, 40 hours per weekFTEssential Functions:
Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of telemetry, techs, patient monitors and remote monitor aids, and other personnel. Direct or conduct recruitment, hiring, and training of personnel. Coach, develop, and counsels direct reports Identifying the developmental needs of direct reports and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills through auditing and chart reviews Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space, and equipment availability.Maintain awareness of policy, procedure, and equipment changes and ensures all direct reports are educated and knowledgeable of the same.Manage and maintenance of telemetry and Avasure equipment and coordination of system upgrades.Contribute to the development of budgets, policy and procedure, compliance with regulatory standards, and contributes to achieving departmental and organizational goals. Develop and maintain computerized record management systems to store and process data, such as personnel activities and information, and to produce reports.Benefits and Perks:
