The Fama-Miller Center for Research in Finance is dedicated to maintaining and advancing the legacy of Eugene Fama and Merton Miller by providing the institutional structure and resources required to support academic researchers and push forward the boundaries of research in finance.

Job Summary
Responsibilities
Manages the finance workshop, finance lunch seminar and banking workshop. This includes catering orders, hotel arrangements for speakers, organizing meeting schedules, and logistics the day of the event.Assists the Director of Research Systems and Development with tasks related to the hiring process of the research professionals.Updates the FMC website.Assists with the managing of all data acquisitions for the Center and supports tracking data renewals.Maintains the FMC project database.Collects and compiles information for the FMC Annual Report.Processes reimbursements for workshop and conference speakers and FMC visitors.Assists with logistics for academic conferences, including maintaining registrations and schedules, and working the day of the event.Manages office supplies and inventory.Performs some routine and complex assignments for the unit usually in the areas of finance, event planning or support services. Initiate the hiring process of students and staff for a unit, which includes the processing of payroll.Researches and analyzes data to create reports, and may create other reports for grants and contracts.Performs other related work as needed.
