NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director, Property Design, Development And Service. The selected candidate will plan, manage, and monitor facilities and construction projects. They will oversee that deliverables are following approved budgets, schedules, and quality standards, and participate in strategic planning goals and track project performance progress and results. The Assistant Director will execute strategic initiatives and new projects, working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and provide effective vendor management and administer appropriate procurement and pricing for products and services. The selected candidate will represent Stern by leading meetings with vendors, internal service providers, user groups, clients, other stakeholders, and team members and prepare reports for leadership and clients on the status of projects. The Assistant Director will maintain the highest standards of ethics & integrity.

Qualifications

The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience in project, budget management, and planning operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to communicate productively with different stakeholders, proven ability to direct and implement a variety of operations and activities, and knowledge of standard office software including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace are also required. A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design or Construction/Facility Management is preferred.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $85,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
