Community-based, University of Iowa Affiliated Family Medicine Residency seeking Assistant Director.

Great mix of full spectrum care, faculty rotate inpatient, outpatient, and obstetrics responsibilities.

Join a team of 5 Board Certified Family Physicians.

Doctorate level pharmacist and psychologist also on the teaching faculty.

18- resident ACGME accredited program.

Academic appointment at University of Iowa and Des Moines University available.

This role is involved in the administration, supervision, and patient care activities pursuant to the education of the family medicine residents

Requirements include:

Minimum of an M.D. or D.O. degree from an approved medical school

Completion of an ACGME accredited family medicine residency

Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Family Medicine

1-3 years of experience is preferred, but not required

Experience in graduate medical education is preferred, but not required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to effectively deal with a broad range of people and personalities

Recruitment package 

A competitive salary and benefits package is being offered for the right candidate including:

$100,000 sign-on bonus!

Guaranteed salary of $267,407/year

Full benefits package, including paid malpractice and tail coverage

$5,000 CME allowance

Reimbursement for licenses/dues, etc.
