This position will lead all updates to budgets, obligations, and expenditures as we oversee implementation and closeout of 141 unique projects. This position will oversee and collaborate with 2 internal team members along with multiple non-departmental team members. This position will take direction from the Director of ARPA Finance and Strategy and ensure that the financial and reporting data is completely accurate. This position will also work closely with the Director of ARPA Implementation and Compliance. Examples of Duties + Manages budget and financial adjustments in Oracle; + Collaborates primarily with Financial Services and Procurement, along with other City Departments to ensure financial data alignment; + Ensures quarterly financial reporting to the US Treasury is accurate; + Ensures internal financial reporting is accurate; + Ensures external dashboards are accurate. Management: + Evaluates performance of subordinates; + Gives advice, counsels, or instructions to individual employees on both work and administrative matters; + Interviews candidates for positions in their unit; + Makes recommendations for appointment, promotion, or reassignment involving such positions; + Hears and resolves complaints from employees; + Refers group grievances and the more serious complaints not resolved to higher level supervisors; + Recommends minor disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands; + As needed, consults with specialists on training needs, and deciding on training problems related to the units supervised; Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course of work in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field. Experience Must have a minimum of four (4) years total experience: Four (4) years of professional experience involving the systematic review, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of grants or other financial data is required; and one (1) year in a supervisory capacity over grants and other financial data functions. License / Certificates None. Equivalency Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
