Take the first step towards a rewarding career by applying today. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Director of Finance to join our team. Reporting directly to the Complex Director of Finance, this executive-level position will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of our hotel complex while supporting the overall goals of the Finance/Accounting Department. Collaborate with the Complex Director of Finance to manage and communicate cash flow-related issues to management and ownership. Assist in the coordination and completion of forecasts and budgets with active participation from the Executive Team and department managers. Analyze financial data and operations to help management maintain the hotel complex’s financial objectives. Ensure timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. Monitor and audit internal financial controls, including purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, credit extension, inventories, assets, payroll, and records. Help direct and prepare all financial reports per company requirements, adhering to strict deadlines. Ensure compliance with regulatory licenses, permits, leases, contracts, legal agreements, and operational taxes. Act as a mentor to team members and be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the Finance/Accounting Department. Qualifications A minimum of 4 years of related work experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proven supervisory or management experience in a similar role. A Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and make sound recommendations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clarify and resolve concerns effectively. Proficiency in working with financial data, understanding basic arithmetic, and performing financial analyses. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $75,000.00/Yr. - $95,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
