Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement
Full-time Job Announcement Position: Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement Location: Athens Campus Department: Institutional Advancement Reports to: Vice President for External Affairs and Institutional Advancement Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package. Deadline to Apply: February 24, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Responsibilities: + Assists in monitoring the activities of personnel to ensure compliance with TCSG policy manual and department procedures. + Works with management and staff to determine strategic positioning and eliminate duplication of processes. + Defines and sets goals based on the strategic direction of the College. + Ensure that information packets are prepared for Trustees prior to quarterly board meetings. + Ensure that the 990 Tax Form and the audit are completed in a timely manner. + Prepare and/or review financial reports and related documents. + Provide information that is necessary for grant proposals. + Prepare reports as needed and provide necessary information for the annual report. + Assist with the annual Donor Recognition Reception. + Assist with signature event(s) that elevate the Athens Tech Foundation and Athens Technical College. + Maintains excellent working relationships with and serves as a liaison to internal and external customers. + Evaluates employees at scheduled intervals upon reviewing of all relevant information. + Focus on internal giving and annual campaign. + Educate Athens Technical College students and potential students of private financial aid opportunities, verify scholarship application information is complete and meets criteria, confirm student data from Banner files, and confirm additional documentation required is complete. + Oversee the process whereby students apply for and receive scholarships, educational access awards, and other awards from funds managed by the Foundation. + Prepares and delivers presentations to share information concerning the Foundation with employees. + Enter objectives for the Office of Institutional Advancement into the IES Planning Tools Software Program and update the activities, accomplishments, outcomes, and improvements each semester. + Maintain a current Office of Institutional Advancement Operating Procedures Manual and ensure that the office functions according to the manual. + Ensure that the Foundation maintains current documents such as By-Laws, corporate registration, various policies, etc. + Present a consistent image and message for the Athens Tech Foundation through effective marketing and the use of presentations, brochures, publications, press releases and other media materials. + Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education *and* Two (2) years of work-related experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Two (2) years of experience in non-profit or institutional advancement management. + Understanding of managing vendor contracts and departmental budget. + Experience working collaboratively with colleagues, donors, and volunteers. + Ability to handle multiple assignments with minimum supervision while meeting strict deadlines. + Demonstrated experience with CRM software products and relational database concepts; Kindful and AwardSpring experience preferred.
