The Assistant Director of Marketing will work with the University Director of Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to develop and lead the marketing department team and strategy as part of ECPI University's overall efforts to enhance brand engagement, awareness and loyalty through various marketing channels. The Assistant Director of Marketing will also collaborate with partners across the ECPI University Administration and campus locations to develop marketing initiatives, and marketing plans that are consistent with the University's voice, brand, identity, goals and regulatory bodies.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Collect and maintain weekly marketing channel reports for all marketing channels, work directly with channel managers to identify and act on performance opportunities of all marketing channels Assist with planning and executing marketing strategy for ECPI University (and subsequent brands) that enhances the brand awareness, increase visibility, deepens relationships and engagement with key audience segments across all channels Develop and oversee large marketing department wide project timelines, deliverables, project management, and results Assist and guide channel managers in brand and identity positioning across all channels globally Assist and guide channel managers in vendor section, contract negotiation, and management Assist University Director of Marketing with creative review and approval Research and evaluate new platforms and marketing channels to drive innovation in development of new marketing tactics, stay abreast of trends, and oversee implementation on a departmental level Build strong relationships with and build support from internal support divisions such as the IT Department to maximize effectiveness and response times Assist in recruiting, training, the professional development, motivating and guiding marketing team members.
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in digital marketing positions, with demonstrated successes leading marketing channels, projects, teams, and branding/awareness/direct response campaigns Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or related field) or a combination of education and equivalent work experience Experience in Higher Education vertical is preferred Proven professional experience managing a technical and creative staff Ability to measure performance using analytic/reporting tools in order to develop best practices, create strategic plans and guide communications projects required Understanding of ECPI University’s distinctive culture and mission preferred High attention to detail required Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines requiredBenefits of Employment
