Assistant Director of Nursing, LPN / RN

*Starting pay is $39 - $43 / hour!
*This is a full time position on 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, with a requirement of being on-call every other weekend.

The Assistant Director of Nursing, LPN / RN will support the Director, Health & Wellness with the supervision and training of the Care team. Assist with the development of service plans to ensure residents receive elevated care based on their individualized needs. Support recruiting, retention and training efforts of the Care team.

The Assistant Director of Nursing, LPN will:

Assist with the development of service plans for each resident, being attentive to each resident as an individual and in accordance with the state assisted living regulations.   Continuously assess and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of resident service plans. Communicate and document changes in needs. Coordinate support services, social services, and restorative services to adjust Care services. Assist with floor coverage as needed. Provide assistance with medication administration, treatments, and providing care as needed. Actively participate in recruiting, retention and development of the Care team. Support training programs and in-services for all employees in accordance with the state assisted living regulations. Assist in the marketing of the assisted living community by engaging in prospective resident tours, public relations events and potential resident referral sources.     Observe community policies and procedures regarding resident and team member safety, attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, and resident service.  Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality at all times.   Adhere to all Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire and safety regulations at all times, to ensure the safety and well-being of all community residents. Perform all other duties as requested.

Education Requirements:

Must possess current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) designation as granted by State Board of Nursing. Fulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state. Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer’s, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing is preferred.
