Cabarrus Health and Rehabilitation Center in Concord, NC is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing.

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you’ll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership, guidance, and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. What you'll do

· Serve as the DON in the absence of the DON; Assists the DON in management, supervision, and direction of all functions of the nursing department.

· Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental and center goals and objectives.

· Ensures compliance with current standards of nursing practice, company policies and procedures, and Federal, State, and Local guidelines and regulations.

· Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.

·  Participate in recruitment, selection, and hiring process of quality nursing staff.

· Provides leadership and provides regular feedback to staff on performance.

· Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What you need

· Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.

· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

·  Ability to lead diverse team of individuals.

·  Strong ability to make independent decisions and work without direct supervision.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized and detail oriented.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
