The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Great Neck is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team! Full-time, day shift RN Duties Include: + Management responsibilities including maintaining exceptional quality of care. + Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff. + Serve the nursing needs of all residents in the facility. + Assist in creating and directing care plans for nursing services. + Maintain and disseminate knowledge of general nursing theory and practice. + Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records. + Assist with interviewing, hiring and orienting of new nursing staff. + Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs. + Assist Director of Nursing with daily responsibilities. Requirements: + Current New York State RN license required. + Minimum three years’ experience in Long-Term Care settings. + Staff training with clinical staff. + Excellent Communication Skills required. + Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision.
