Brooklyn Center is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the Director of Nursing (DON) to manage and maintain high standards of careLeading staff education and acting as the Infection Control OfficerEnsuring compliance and fostering clear communication with nursing teamsMeeting the medical and nursing needs of all residentsPlanning and coordinating nursing services across the facilityStaying current with nursing practices and theoryRisk ManagementEnsuring timely and accurate completion of medical documentationAssisting in the hiring, interviewing, and orientation of new nursing staffBeing adaptable to changing demands and maintaining a flexible schedule as needed
Qualifications:
Active RN license in New YorkMinimum of 3 years' experience in long-term care2 years of leadership or management experience preferredAt least 1 year of experience in staff education is a plusStrong communication and leadership abilitiesWillingness to work flexible hoursREQUIREMENTS:
Current State RN license requiredMin. 3 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings2 years of management experience preferred1-year staff education experience preferredExcellent Communication Skills requiredEvidence of basic leadership skills and supervisionFlexible hours required
