Join us.  The Assistant Editor position is responsible for editing in Adobe Premiere and AViD, inserting patch fixes, compliance editing, finishing shortform and graphic creation. Candidates must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photo Shop and Avid knowledge with the skill set to complete basic edit and graphics creation using template projects.  + Create and send digital files to clients   + Evaluate the final audio/video’s overall integrity  + Troubleshoot technical issues within the edit platforms   + Unsupervised S&P editing using Avid/Premiere   + Finishing of short form assets using Adobe Premiere   + Creation of graphics using Adobe After Effects tool kits   + Edit of billboards  + Simple Audio editing as needed  + Create close caption and subtitle files for shortform assets and add  files to assets   + Use of Frame.io for digital delivery   + Embed CC on longform assets using MacCaption   + Complete daily work orders   + All other duties as assigned  REQUIREMENTS:  + 2+ years of professional experience editing video content.     + 2+ years prior experience working in Adobe Premiere Suite    + Editorial skills include Standards & Practice editing to meet Network requirements, knowledge of blurring and tracking of a video image using Adobe Premiere, and the ability to perform Video/Audio insert fixes while maintaining audio sync.   + Knowledge of Adobe After Effects  + Ability to do simple graphics creation and support utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects, (snipes, lower third, end page creation and executing end credit squeezes).  + MAC and PC knowledge a must  + Able to work independently as well as with a team of Program Managers and Coordinators.  + Strong Communication skills required (email, Microsoft Teams, Slack)  + Client Service Skills needed to perform and deliver to clients’ satisfaction   + Knowledge of Avid Media Composer a plus   + Knowledge of Translator and Mediator Workflows   + Understanding Shortform Finishing process   + Experience in Microsoft Office applications   + Familiar with digital video formats and codecs   + Working knowledge of the Post Production ecosystem a plus  Eligibility Requirements + Must be willing to work onsite at the Englewood Cliffs, NJ facility a minimum of 3 days per week    + Must be willing to work nights/weekends and overtime as needed + Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
