Assistant Electronic Security System Administrator
**Summary** The **Assistant Electronics Security System Administrator** will collaborate with the Lead System Administrator to perform system maintenance and servicing based on customer requirements. **_This position is contingent upon contract award_** **Responsibilities** + Possesses the ability to service both hardware and software in and IP based Access Control Security system, including but not limited to swapping out hardware, upgrading hardware, updating system firmware or other software, and system hardware and software license upkeep. + Possesses an understand of Troubleshooting technique of complex IP based infrastructure. + Possesses knowledge and can demonstrate the use of computer aided design (CAD) software. + Understanding of basic device configuration and programming in accordance with the system requirements and customers’ requirements. + Experience with Video Management Software (VMS) as well as other primary components to a complex IP based Intrusion Detection Security (IDS) system and Access Control Systems (ACS). + Able to manage multiple tasks that require significant amounts of coordination, including immediate response or emergency taskings for systems which have high uptime requirements, ensuring minimal downtime and/or interruptions to equipment capabilities. + Understanding of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts system and the ability to work with others to enact the mitigation process decided upon by the Lead System Administrator and Customer. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Must have working knowledge of maintenance and servicing for Physical Access Control, Identity Management, and integrated security solutions to include at a minimum IDS, CCTV, VMS, and ACP. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and servicing of complex security systems integrated with multiple sub-systems in a classified work environment. + Must possess the ability to troubleshoot complex ESS systems and provide recommendations, reports, letters, and supportive information to Lead System Administrators. + Must possess a DoDI 8570 IAT II level certification. + Must possess or be willing to obtain Lenel System Essentials Certification. _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Must be able to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms as needed to access equipment. + Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all DoD stakeholders to provide dependable, professional support. + Must have experience in servicing complex IDS, ACS, VMS, CCTV, and other IP based infrastructure environments and the Maintenance steps to ensure system is properly serviced, ensuring exemplary system uptime.
